The hospitals will cost a combined $754 million and will add 264 beds. The project is expected to add 500 new jobs to the health system, according to the report.
The hospital system brought in additional construction workers — 1,200 are now assigned to the project — and readjusted work flows to speed up the construction schedule, according to the report.
