The service will include two new ambulances, as well as two other emergency vehicles. The move means the Trinity Health facility will no longer rely on private companies or support from other municipalities for emergency transportation. There is currently one ambulance that is continually operational, with the other expected to be added for peak hours, officials told the news outlet.

The facility’s emergency services have been in operation for about two weeks and have so far supported more than 60 patients.
