ThedaCare in Wisconsin Plans New Replacement Hospital

Appleton, Wis.-based ThedaCare is planning a new hospital to replace Shawano (Wis.) Medical Center, which integrated with ThedaCare about a year ago, according to a Shawano Leader report.

ThedaCare officials plan to build the new hospital as an addition to the ThedaCare Physicians building in Shawano. The health system aims to create a more integrated healthcare experience for patients.

Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2013.
