Indiana (Pa.) Regional Medical Center is opening its new behavioral health facility, the Indiana Gazette reported April 10.
IRMC Mountains Behavioral Health is a 31,000-square-foot center with 44 inpatient beds for adolescent, adult and senior patients, and will provide treatment options for conditions such as schizophrenia, depression and delusional disorders.
The $24 million project is a collaboration between IRMC and local government officials and organizations. It is expected to create more than 100 jobs in Indiana County.
The facility will begin admitting patients later this month.
