The announcement comes after the CDC last week identified 380 confirmed or probable cases of lung disease associated with e-cigarettes in 36 states. Six deaths were confirmed.
Mr. Cuomo said he wants to ban sales of all flavors of e-cigarettes besides menthol and tobacco, following a similar ban by Michigan and a call for more vaping regulations by President Donald Trump.
