AdventHealth Manchester, a 49-bed hospital in Kentucky, has joined the affiliate network of Lexington-based Kentucky Children’s Hospital through a new clinical collaboration aimed at expanding pediatric care access.

The partnership gives AdventHealth Manchester access to pediatric-focused training, education, clinical tools and peer support, according to a June 13 news release.

The affiliation also allows clinicians at AdventHealth Manchester to collaborate with pediatric specialists from Kentucky Children’s Hospital.

“Collaborating with AdventHealth helps us bring our mission full circle: delivering the highest level of pediatric care to children, no matter where they live,” Scottie Day, MD, physician-in-chief at Kentucky Children’s Hospital, said in the news release. “By supporting local hospitals with our expertise and resources, we can empower providers and improve outcomes for kids across Kentucky.”
