The new facility is nine stories and includes 98 affordable residences. Medical and behavioral health services take up the first three floors, while the remaining six floors are for housing.
Housing residents will be required to pay 30 percent of their income to stay at the facility and will begin arriving in November.
The center also includes 75 medical respite beds, and depending on a patient’s condition, the facility will offer 30 to 45 days of care. These patients must be referred by a medical facility.
