The new facility, which will be called Madison River Oaks Hospital, will replace Madison County Medical Center, which has been open in the same location since 1965, according to the report.
The new facility is owned by Health Management Associates and will feature emergency services, an intensive care unit, a women’s services center, surgery and imaging centers and a pharmacy.
