Catholic Medical Partners-Accountable Care IPA (Buffalo, N.Y.). Catholic Medical Partners, an independent practice association, joined the Medicare Shared Savings Program in 2012. In its first performance year, Catholic Medical Partners generated more than $13.6 million in savings for Medicare. In January 2015, it received national recognition as the first ACO in New York to earn Level 2 accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Now in its fourth year in the MSSP program, Catholic Medical Partners is in Track 3, which includes downside risk.
