4 cardiologists on the move

Here are four cardiologists who have stepped into new roles since Oct. 6:

1. Cardiologist Lara Shekerdemian, MD, was recently named chair of the department of pediatrics at Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine.
   
   
2. Avinash Linganna, MD, joined Butler (Pa.) Health System's heart team as a non-invasive cardiology specialist.
   
   
3. Ronak Soni, MD, joined Little Rock, Ark.-based CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute as an interventional cardiologist.
   
   
4. Chattanooga, Tenn.-based Centennial Heart at Parkridge welcomed David Wendt, MD, a fellowship-trained cardiologist.
