Wells Fargo Insurance to Sell Brokerage Locations

Wells Fargo Insurance, part of Wells Fargo & Company, has agreed to sell 42 insurance brokerage and consulting locations to USI Insurance Services.

The sale of the primarily smaller, regional brokerage location is part of the company’s strategy to focus on select markets such as Charlotte, N.C., Dallas, Minneapolis and San Francisco, according to a news release. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2014, were not disclosed.

Wells Fargo provides targeted insurance programs for healthcare and other industries.
