UPMC to open 130-bed replacement hospital Aug. 18

The 130-bed, five-story replacement hospital for UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital in York, Pa., is slated to open Aug. 18, according to the York Daily Record.

The hospital will feature three heart catheterization labs, an emergency department with 28 rooms, maternity suits, four operating rooms and a critical care unit with 14 beds.

Construction on the building started in August 2017.
