Mr. Dorsey said he is sure the “internet is going to have a native currency,” that every person and company across the world can use to facilitate online transactions, according to Fortune. Such a move would take a significant amount of time, but Bitcoin is best positioned to become the standard currency due to its prominence among cryptocurrencies.

“Let’s not wait for it to happen, let’s help it happen,” said Mr. Dorsey, according to Fortune.
