The new building, which will serve as a “one-stop shop” for cancer treatment, is expected to open in late 2018 or early 2019. The goal of the center is to consolidate the health system’s cancer care providers, testing and treatment.
Philanthropists Harold and Eugenia Thomas donated $10 million to support TriHealth’s efforts to fight cancer. The four-story, 80,000-square-foot building will be named the Harold M. and Eugenia S. Thomas Comprehensive Cancer Care Center, according to the report.
A groundbreaking ceremony took place June 8 at the site of the new building. Construction will begin before the end of 2017.
