The St. Louis-based health system will sublease the entire 181,000-square-foot facility located in Des Peres.
According to the report, Centene first took over the building in 2019 but it is unclear if the payer ever moved in. The company has been rapidly downsizing physical office space over the last year as more employees work remote or hybrid. Centene canceled plans for a $1 billion east coast headquarters in North Carolina in 2022.
