From hospital construction projects to launching hospital-at-home programs, here are how six health systems are spending donation funds, as reported by Becker's since April 11: 

York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health and Emerus, a micro-hospital developer, broke ground April 23 on the WellSpan Shrewsbury Hospital in York County, Pa. 

AdventHealth Daytona Beach (Fla.), part of Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth, is planning a $220 million expansion.

In 2028, OhioHealth plans to open a new, seven-story trauma and critical care center at Grant Medical Center in Columbus as part of a $400 million expansion project. 

Florence, S.C.-based McLeod Health broke ground on a $56 million hospital at its McLeod Health Carolina Forest Campus on April 22 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Blountstown, Fla.-based Calhoun Liberty Hospital has received a $9.6 million bridge loan from XRL ALC, an affiliate of X-Caliber Rural Capital, and American Lending Center to support a $58 million renovation project.

TV and radio host Ryan Seacrest has been building broadcast media centers, named Seacrest Studios, in children's hospitals, and the latest will be at Children's Hospital New Orleans.
