Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network is kicking off a $10 million capital campaign to support the construction of a new hospital with a $1.5 million gift from a local businessman, according to the Dayton Business Journal.

St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare is teaming up with HealthSouth Corp., a Birmingham, Ala.-based rehabilitation services provider, to build a 35-bed rehab hospital on the third floor of BJC's Barnes-Jewish St. Peters (Mo.) Hospital.

Michigan State University in Lansing has hinted at the possibility of building a hospital with McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, though the organizations have yet to disclose details, WILX 10 reported.
