New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health has opened its second Pennsylvania location with a new primary and immediate care center in Hawley.

Three notes:

1. The 2,750-square-foot Northwell Health Physician Partners Primary and Immediate Care at Hawley follows the health system’s first Pennsylvania practice, which opened in Dingmans Ferry in December 2025, according to a June 29 health system news release. Clinicians began seeing patients in January.

2. The Hawley practice provides primary care and immediate care services for non-life-threatening conditions. It is led by Susan Mowatt, MD, as site lead. Theodore Strange, MD, regional physician executive of Staten Island at Northwell Health, is leading the health system’s clinical efforts in Pike County.

3. Northwell said the Hawley location is part of its continued expansion in Pike County, where it plans to evaluate additional services as community needs evolve. The new center also connects patients to Northwell’s broader integrated network for specialty care as needed.
