Live Oak, Texas-based Methodist Hospital – Northeast broke ground Jan. 20 on a $146 million patient tower.
The hospital is part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare’s San Antonio, Texas-based Methodist Healthcare System.
The three-floor, 100,000-square-foot tower will add 64 medical-surgical beds and 14 critical care beds, and will eliminate all existing dual-occupancy rooms, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
“As this area grows, so do the needs of the families who live and work here – and we have made a commitment to grow right alongside them,” Jerrica George, CEO of Methodist Hospital – Northeast, said in the release. “Through expanded services, new specialties, and now this latest expansion, we are ensuring that high-quality care keeps pace with the momentum of our community.”
