GoHealth Urgent Care eyes health system partners to 'scale and grow'

Atlanta-based GoHealth Urgent Care plans to launch new health system partnerships and open its 300th facility this year.

The company also augmented its C-suite team with two newly created roles and appointed a new CFO.

Tom Oram, who served as GoHealth's CFO for eight years, has been appointed to the new role of chief partnership officer. He will work with the company's CEO, COO, support teams and health system partners to ensure integrated joint ventures maximize the value of GoHealth's business model.

Paula Blomquist, who served as GoHealth's chief marketing officer since 2021, was named to the expanded role of chief experience officer. She will lead marketing, ITcustomer experience, and enterprise data and business intelligence.

Brian Koppy joined GoHealth as CFO in late 2023. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare finance and previously served as CFO of Aetna's commercial insurance unit and CFO of Cano Health, a value-based primary care business.

"Our mission is to create a healthcare experience that is effortless, connected and personal, and we are determined to continue to deliver on that mission as we scale and grow," CEO Todd Latz said in a Jan. 8 news release. "With these changes and additions to our executive team, we are tapping highly successful leaders to deepen our relationships with health system partners, maximize our financial growth and strengthen our essential human connections with our customers."
