The project will add four stories to the existing hospital, three new trauma rooms, relocate the OB and pediatric department and shell two additional floors to accommodate new medical and surgical units in the future. It will also include a renovation to the ED.

The design promotes clinical collaboration by creating physician work areas in centralized locations. The new ED is also supposed to enhance the patient experience by improving patient flow and allowing staff to triage more effectively.
