“St. Mary’s Hospital has a renewed vitality and bright future. I congratulate them all for what they have achieved,” said Rep. Pascrell, who recently announced a $950,000 federal grant for renovations and IT upgrades at the 292-bed hospital.
Five other New Jersey hospitals have filed for bankruptcy since 1977, either closing or selling their assets.
