EmCare Q2 revenue up 21%

EmCare, a national facility-based and post-acute care physician services company, part of Envision Healthcare Holdings, generated net revenue of $690 million in its second quarter, an increase of 21.2 percent from the second quarter of 2013.

Organic growth was 20.3 percent, thanks in part to a 15.4 percent increase from net new contracts.

In the six months ending June 30, EmCare’s net revenue was up 18.7 percent to $1.33 billion.

Envision Healthcare’s second quarter 2014 net revenue was $1.08 billion, up 19.6 percent compared to 2013’s second quarter.
