A proposal for $40 million in state bonds over two budget years to build a new UConn Health Center, including conversion the current facility into a research center, was removed from a bond package expected to be adopted by the Connecticut Legislature.
Despite the legislature’s action, UConn officials assured the medical community that the project is still alive.
