Clorox’s Net Income Rises 17% in 2Q

Clorox Company’s net income in the second quarter of the fiscal year 2013 rose by 17 percent from the same period last year to $123 million.

Clorox’s total revenue for the second quarter rose by 8.5 percent from the same period last year to $1.3 billion.

For the first six months of its 2013 fiscal year, Clorox’s net income totaled $256 million, up 9 percent from $235 million recorded for the first six months last year. Total revenue was up 5.4 percent to $2.66 billion.
