JPMorgan poaches top Google AI executive

J.P.Morgan has hired Aproov Saxena, Google’s head of product management for cloud-based artificial intelligence, to be its head of artificial intelligence and machine-learning services, according to CNBC.

Mr. Saxena will join J.P.Morgan Aug. 31 and also serve as head of asset and wealth management artificial intelligence technology.

J.P.Morgan has been looking outside the finance industry for top tech talent, and nearly one-third of its recent senior hires have come from outside the industry.
