CBS hires 2 law firms to investigate 'cultural issues' at all levels of company

The CBS board of directors hired two law firms to conduct an investigation into issues at the company that have come to light after allegations of sexual harassment against CEO Les Moonves, according to CNBC.

The law firms will not only investigate Mr. Moonves, whose allegations of misconduct date to the 1980s; it will include the entire corporate culture of CBS.

"At its meeting this afternoon, the CBS Board of Directors unanimously approved the retention of Covington & Burling and Debevoise & Plimpton to conduct a full investigation of the allegations in recent press reports about Chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves, CBS News and cultural issues at all levels of CBS," the board of directors said in a news release, according to CNBC.
