Riverview Medical Center has unveiled the first completed phase of its hospital expansion, which will eventually add an educational and conference center, specialty surgical suites and a renovated post-anesthesia care area to the unit, according to a Holmdel Patch report.
The first phase of the expansion, Surgical Day Stay, is an amenity-rich medical unit with 23 new healing bays that will begin accepting new patients on March 26. Riverview Medical Center announced its plans for the creation of a 22,000-square-foot center for surgical excellence about a year ago.
