North American Partners in Anesthesia Acquires Norwich Anesthesia Associates

North American Partners in Anesthesia this week acquired Norwich (Conn.) Anesthesia Associates, a medical practice providing anesthesiology services at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich.

“It was important for us to partner with a proven national anesthesia provider that has the infrastructure to provide us with access to services and stability, allowing our practice to focus on our ultimate goal of providing high quality clinical care,” says Paul Pudimat, MD, chairman of anesthesia at William W. Backus Hospital. “Our new partnership with NAPA will provide us the necessary infrastructure and resources to meet the changing needs of our hospital and our patients.”

With a network of more than 900 clinicians, NAPA is the largest single-specialty anesthesia management company in the U.S.
