Mission Health Partners, FirstCarolinaCare form Medicare Advantage partnership

Mission Health Partners, an accountable care organization based in Asheville, N.C., and FirstCarolinaCare Insurance have established a new network relationship to serve Medicaid Advantage plans.

Medicaid Advantage plans will be available to seniors during the Medicare annual enrollment period beginning Oct. 15. The plan is offered to eligible Medicare Advantage residents in Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, McDowell, Transylvania and Yancey counties.

“It has always been our mission to provide our members with access to high quality care to improve their health, and this collaboration gives us the ability to further that mission with a likeminded partner,” said FirstCarolinaCare President Craig Humphrey in a prepared statement.
