To meet certification standards, the hospital’s orthopedic surgery department underwent a highly detailed, on-site survey over the course of two days in November 2016. For the survey, a Joint Commission reviewer analyzed the care provided to total hip and knee replacements surgery patients. The review included an analysis of pre-operative evaluations, the surgeries and post-operation recovery in the hospital.
