U.S. News & World Report released its 2025 rankings of MBA programs April 8, part of the news outlet’s broader Best Graduate Schools rankings.
The media company produced multiple lists, including best full-time MBA programs, best part-time MBA programs and best executive MBA programs.
To rank full-time MBA programs, U.S. News ranked 133 business schools with eligible full-time campus-based programs on their career attainment success, student excellence and qualitative assessments by experts.
Each school’s overall rank was determined by scores on nine factors: acceptance rate, median undergraduate GPA, median GMAT and GRE scores, recruiter assessment score, peer assessment score, salary by profession, mean starting salary and bonus, employment rates at graduation, and employment rates three months after graduation. This methodology was also used to rank executive MBA programs.
To rank part-time MBA programs, U.S. News collected part-time program data for the six ranking factors: peer assessment score, part-time student ratio, part-time students total, GMAT/GRE scores, undergraduate grade point average, and work experience. More than 240 schools qualified for the ranking.
