1. The two entities entered into a clinical partnership under which Moffitt will provide cancer services at Memorial, according to a news release.

2. As part of the partnership, Moffitt will establish a comprehensive blood and marrow transplant cellular therapy program at Memorial beginning July 1, the release states. Physicians and advanced practice professionals staffing the program will be Moffitt employees.

3. “Moffitt and Memorial share similar cultures, in that we are both driven by patient-centered care, provide world-class cancer treatment and are dedicated to advancing cancer research,” said Alan List, MD, Moffitt’s president and CEO, in the release. “Memorial and its patients will have increased access to research, personalized medicine and innovation through a distribution of the Moffitt model of care.”
