Providence Hood River (Ore.) Memorial Hospital. Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital serving five counties of the Columbia River Gorge area, located about 60 miles east of Portland, Ore. The 25-bed hospital employs 540 individuals, 73 of which are active medical staff. Healthgrades recognized Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital with the Outstanding Patient Experience Award for the third consecutive year in 2017.
