Huggins Hospital (Wolfeboro, N.H.). Since opening in 1907, Huggins Hospital has grown expansively to provide more comprehensive patient services. It expanded into an updated $55 million facility in May 2010 and offers a vast range of advanced medical and specialty care. Huggins Hospital is currently part of a proposed affiliation between four hospitals, pending regulatory approval, aimed at sustaining local, community-based healthcare. National Rural Health Association named Huggins a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital for quality in 2016.
