Bridgton (Maine) Hospital. Bridgton Hospital has taken major steps in the last two decades to expand services and improve operations. In 1999, Bridgton became a subsidiary of Central Maine Medical Center to improve access to care among rural patients. The hospital specializes in women’s health, providing fertility, breast and cervical cancer, bladder control and menopause services to rural women and families. The National Rural Health Association named Bridgton Hospital a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital for quality performance in 2016.
