Robert Schmitt. CEO of Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (Gibson City, Ill.). Mr. Schmitt joined Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services in 2002 as CFO and was promoted to CEO in 2007. He oversees a team of more than 700 individuals at the hospital, which has medical clinics in nine surrounding communities. In addition to his role at Gibson, Mr. Schmitt is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the Illinois Hospital Association board of directors.
