Bryan Slaba. Administrator and CEO of Wagner Community Memorial Hospital – Avera (Sioux Falls, S.D.). As administrator and CEO of Wagner Community Memorial Hospital, Mr. Slaba oversees efforts at the 20-bed critical access hospital to provide care in a changing environment. He earned the American Hospital Association’s 2018 Rural Hospital Leadership Award for his service to the Sioux Falls community. He initially joined Wagner Community Memorial as CFO in 2007 and became CEO in 2008; since then he has led a technology transformation and expanded the facility, adding rehabilitation and primary clinic space.
