Bernard Wheatley, DBA. CEO of Schneider Regional Medical Center (St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands). Dr. Wheatley has been CEO of Schneider Regional Medical Center since April 2013, overseeing the hospital and three additional healthcare facilities. With more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, Dr. Wheatley is known for driving performance improvements, achieving clinical excellence and building partnerships with key stakeholders. He has previous experience as vice president of operations at Athens (Ga.) Regional Medical Center, a 360-bed hospital with a level 2 trauma center.
