Aria Health Frankford (Philadelphia). Aria Health Frankford opened its doors on the Fourth of July, 1903. Today, this 115-bed hospital strives to care for its community and environment. In addition to participating in all six HHI Challenge, the Aria Health Frankford campus also boasts an LEED Silver-certified emergency department. Ten percent of the materials used to build the ED were recycled and another 10 percent were regionally extracted, harvested, recovered or manufactured. The new ED also reduced Aria Health Frankfort’s potable landscape water use by 50 percent and its baseline indoor water use by 30 percent.
