Memorial Hospital (Seward, Neb.). Memorial Hospital is owned and operated by Seward-based Memorial Health Care Systems and consists of three family medical clinics, a pharmacy and a physical therapy program. It opened its doors Sept. 1, 1950. Seward Memorial’s excellence as a critical access institution has been recognized nationally in recent years. It ranked among the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation by iVantage Health Analytics and received recognition from the National Rural Health Association for Top 20 Critical Access Hospital Best Practice in Quality in 2016.
