Transylvania Regional Hospital (Brevard, N.C.). Transylvania Regional Hospital was formed in 1933 and is now part of Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health. The hospital, situated in southwest North Carolina, boasts 120 active, consulting and courtesy physicians. For the fourth year in a row in 2014, the hospital was named one of the nation’s top performers on key quality measures by the Joint Commission.
