Speare Memorial Hospital (Plymouth, N.H.). Speare Memorial Hospital, located in the heart of New Hampshire, has welcomed patients since it opened in 1899. It underwent a major renovation and grand reopening in November 2006. Since then, the hospital has earned a bevy of awards and recognitions for excellence. For example, the hospital has been named as a Top 100 Critical Access Hospital by iVantage Health Analytics for five consecutive years, including in 2015. Also this year, the National Rural Health Association named it as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital.
