Mr. Werthman has more than 35 years of experience in healthcare and higher education, and he assumed his current position with the six-hospital Johns Hopkins Health System in 1993. Before then, he served as vice president and CFO of Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. He also held administrative roles in several hospitals, including Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
