Mr. Guarracino joined The Brooklyn Hospital Center in December 2007 and helped the 464-bed public hospital regain its financial footing after emerging from bankruptcy that year. He has more than 25 years of financial administration experience, particularly in the New York City area. Prior to taking over The Brooklyn Hospital Center’s finances, Mr. Guarracino was CFO of Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and also served as assistant vice president of Health Quest, Vassar Brothers’ parent organization.
