Christopher Dawes. President and CEO of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and Stanford Children's Health (Palo Alto, Calif.). Before joining the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital team in 1991, Mr. Dawes held senior management positions at Stanford Healthcare, Pacific Presbyterian Medical Center in San Francisco and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose. She became CEO of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in 1999. As a dedicated advocate for children's health, Mr. Dawes serves as a board member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions, the California Children's Hospital Association and the Santa Clara Family Health Plan. Lucile Packard Children's has been continually ranked as one of the nation's best by U.S. News & World Report under Mr. Dawes' tenure.
