Vice President and Chief Analytics Officer of UnityPoint Health (West Des Moines, Iowa). “Data saves lives” has become a new catchphrase at UnityPoint Health thanks to Ms. McVay, who focuses on the power of numbers and data to directly impact patient care. Her accomplishments at the system include centralizing and standardizing financial and revenue cycle data and developing ways to track ACO metrics and readmissions. Ms. McVay’s talents were quickly recognized, and she was appointed chief analytics officer in 2016.
