Gemma Rama-Banaag, RN, BSN, MSN. CNO of Paradise Valley Hospital (National City, Calif.). After completing her nursing degree at Philippine Union College in the Philippines in 1987, Ms. Rama-Banaag made it her goal to care for others and stand as a leader in her community. She held a variety of leadership positions throughout her career, including director of nursing and director of clinical services at PromiseHospital in San Diego before returning to ParadiseValley as the hospital’s CNO in 2011. Ms. Rama-Banaag is a member of the Philippine Nurses Association of San Diego and continues to volunteer at her church in her free time. She received an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
