Deborah A. Proctor, RN, MSN. President and CEO of St. Joseph Health (Orange, Calif.). As president and CEO of the health system since 2004, Ms. Proctor oversees 16 acute care hospitals home health agencies, hospice care facilities, outpatient services, skilled nursing facilities, community clinics and physician organizations in three states. Prior to her current role, she served in various leadership roles at St. Joseph Hospital and the health system office and previously was the chief administrative officer of Ascension Health. Ms. Proctor, who also served as chair of the Catholic Health Association, announced in February that she will retire in 2016.
