Rush University Medical Center (Chicago). Recognized for its pioneering work on minimally invasive hip surgery and specialization in minimally invasive techniques, Rush University Medical Center was named No. 6 in the nation for orthopedic care for 2015-16 by U.S. News & World Report. The center's orthopedic program includes the Rush Cartilage Restoration Center, the Center for Limb Preservation and the Orthopedic Cancer and Transplant Program. The Magnet-recognized hospital is a Blue Distinction Center+ for Knee and Hip Replacement. U.S News also rated Rush as high-performing in both hip and knee replacement in its common care ratings this year, and the hospital received a Joint Replacement Excellence Award from Healthgrades for 2016.
